1. General Enrolment Terms

1.1 Eligibility:
Our dance classes are open to students of all ages and skill levels. Enrolment is subject to availability, and age requirements for specific classes may apply.

1.2 Registration Process:
To secure a place in a class, you must complete the online registration form and submit the required payment. An invoice will be sent prior to the start of the term. If you register mid-term, adjustments to the fee will be made accordingly. Once the registration and payment are processed, your child’s spot in the class will be officially confirmed.

1.3 Parental Consent:
For students under the age of 18, we require parental or guardian consent for enrolment. By registering your child, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and give consent for them to participate in our programs.

2. Fees and Payments

2.1 Fees:
Fees are non-refundable unless specified under the Refund Policy. The fees cover class instruction, facility use, and other related expenses.

2.2 Payment Schedule:
All fees are due before the start of the term unless an alternative payment plan has been arranged. Payment options include bank transfer, credit card, and PayPal.

2.3 Late Payments:
A late fee may be applied if payment is not received by the specified due date. Continued non-payment may result in suspension or removal from the class.

3. Class Attendance and Cancellations

3.1 Class Attendance:
Regular attendance is expected to maintain progress. If your child is unable to attend a class, please notify us in advance. Make-up classes may be available but are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.

3.2 Class Cancellations:
In the event of class cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, instructor illness), we will notify parents/guardians as soon as possible. Make-up classes or credits may be provided, depending on the situation.

4. Health and Safety

4.1 Medical Information:
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to inform us of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or injuries that could affect their child’s participation in dance classes. This information must be submitted at the time of registration or as soon as any changes occur.

4.2 Accidents and Injuries:
While we strive to provide a safe environment for all students, dance and acrobatic activities carry inherent risks. By enrolling in our programs, you acknowledge and accept these risks. S&G Dance Academy will not be held liable for any injuries that occur during class or events. Emergency medical treatment will be sought if necessary, and parents/guardians will be contacted immediately.

4.3 Supervision:
Students are supervised during class times, but we are not responsible for students before or after scheduled class hours. Parents/guardians must ensure students are dropped off and picked up on time.

5. Conduct and Behaviour

5.1 Student Behavior:
Students are expected to behave in a respectful and cooperative manner during class. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from class. A written warning will be given, and in severe cases, expulsion from the program may be considered.

5.2 Parental Conduct:
Parents/guardians are expected to behave respectfully while on school premises. Unacceptable behaviour, including disruptive or inappropriate actions, may result in a review of the student’s enrolment.

6. Media Release and Photography

6.1 Photography and Video:
From time to time, photographs and videos may be taken during classes and performances for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and marketing materials. When enrolling your child, you will have the option to consent to the use of their image or to opt out if you prefer.

7. Termination and Refund Policy

7.1 Non-Refundable Fees:
All fees are non-refundable, except in cases where specified in the Refund Policy (e.g., serious injury or death in the immediate family).

7.2 Termination of Enrollment:
We reserve the right to terminate a student's enrollment if they repeatedly fail to comply with the rules, regulations, or payment terms outlined here. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 Data Collection:
In order to enroll your child and maintain class records, we collect personal information, including the student's name, date of birth, parent/guardian contact details, and medical information. We will not share or sell your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as necessary for legal or operational reasons.

8.2 Security:
We take reasonable precautions to protect the personal data we collect and store, but cannot guarantee its absolute security.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Liability Waiver:
By enrolling in S&G Dance Academy, you agree to release the school and its staff from any liability for injury, loss, or damage that may occur during classes, performances, or related activities. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure a safe environment, but participants engage at their own risk.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

10.1 Modification of Terms:
These terms and conditions may be updated periodically. Any changes will be communicated to parents/guardians via email or posted on our website. Continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
